These terms govern your use of Converta ("the app"), a currency-display application for OpoShop stores provided by Found. By installing or using Converta, you agree to these terms.
1. What Converta does
Converta shows your storefront prices to each shopper in their own currency, auto-detected by location, at live daily exchange rates, with a manual currency switcher. It reads only your store's base currency (read-only) and converts prices for display. Converta is display-only: it does not modify your store, does not touch checkout or payments, and does not place, edit, or fulfill orders.
2. Display-only — checkout is unchanged
Converta changes only how prices appear. OpoShop checkout continues to charge in your store's real currency exactly as before. The converted figures shown to shoppers are for reference, and the widget states this to shoppers. Converta does not and cannot process multi-currency payments. Exchange rates are sourced from a third-party feed and are provided on an "as is" basis for display; small differences from any given bank or card rate are expected.
3. Merchant control
You control Converta from its dashboard: enable the app, choose which display currencies to offer, turn auto-detection on or off, set a rounding rule, and style the switcher. The widget appears on your storefront only when you enable it. You are responsible for configuring Converta appropriately for your store and applicable law.
4. Your responsibilities
- You must own or be authorized to manage the OpoShop store you connect.
- You are responsible for the display settings you choose and for ensuring they are appropriate for your storefront and comply with applicable law.
- You must keep your OpoShop account credentials secure.
5. Availability
We work to keep Converta reliable but provide it "as is," without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. If the rate feed is temporarily unavailable, Converta continues to serve the last cached rates and, in the worst case, simply shows your prices in your store's own currency — it is designed to fail safely and never break your storefront.
6. Data
Your use of Converta is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is accessed and how it is protected. Converta stores no payment card data, has no shopper accounts, uses a shopper's country only in the moment to pick a currency (never stored), and scopes all data to your store.
7. Fees
Converta is installed through the OpoShop app store. Any pricing is as shown on the listing at install time.
8. Termination
You may uninstall Converta at any time from your OpoShop admin. On uninstall, the widget stops showing on your storefront, we stop processing your store's data, and we will delete it on request.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Converta or from decisions made based on displayed converted prices.
